Aus Vs Eng 2nd Test Update – The Mighty Aussies are back and back with a bang as they purely destroyed Englishmen on their own turf. Australia had lost the first test match of 5 Match Ashes 2015 Test Series but they showed that why they have been the pioneers of the cricketing world so long and still continue to do so. It was all about Mitch duo, Rogers and Man of the Match, the world number one Steve Smith as Australia thrashed England by 405 runs at the home of Cricket, Lords.

Australia Vs England – Ashesย 2nd Test News:

England were given the monstrous target of 508 runs after Australia declared their second innings at 254 for 2 with David Warner top scoring (83) and good knock by Steve Smith (58). England chase was rattled by Mitchell Starc at the score 12 when Starc got better of Adam Lyth (7) and again pointed out Englandโ€™s issue with opening. The wall of wickets continued as Mitchell Johnson was back to his menacing act of Previous Ashes series. Johnson grabbed 3 wickets in the 2nd innings as he did in first but his bouncers and fierce pace took England by storm and Every English batsmen was reminded of Previous Ashes series. Mitchell Marsh also contributed by taking total of 3 wickets in the test and justified his place in the team after Shane Watson was left out for the test. None of English batsmen could face Aussies Bowling attack (Johnson, Starc, Hazelwood, Marsh and Lyon) and they surrendered at the score of 103 and thus facing one of the biggest defeats by runs (405 Runs).

  • 2nd Innings โ€“ 103 (Broad-25), Wickets (Johnson- 3 for 27).
