Australia won initial 2 matches but England bounced in next 2 to equalise the series for a decider at Old Trafford but Mitchell Marsh was too good for English Batters therefore England couldn’t even compete World Champions in the Final ODI.

England won the toss and decided to bat first but the decision went against them as John Hastings and Mitch Marsh destroyed England’s batting line up to end their innings at 138 with Captain, Eon Morgan retiring hurt due to head injury by Mitch Starc’s delivery. Hasting took 3 wickets while All Rounder, Mitchell Marsh grabbed 4 scalps.
Australia had an easy target of 139 but they lost Joe Burns (0) very early and Skipper Steve Smith followed him soon but George Bailey (41 NOT OUT) and Aaron Finch (67) assured an easy win for the visitors and hence win the series by 3-2.
Australia had lost the Ashes 2015 but winning the ODI Series must have consoled the Aussies to an extent.
