Baba Ramdev to Launch Beauty and Baby Care Products

Yoga Guru, Baba Ramdev is planning to launch beauty care, baby care, Yoga wear and health line products to dominate the domestic market and eliminate the foreign brands and companies from India. Recently, Patanjali Atta Noodles was launched by Baba Ramdev to take on Nestle’s Maggi.

Famed Yoga Guru, Baba Ramdev is eyeing to be a business tycoon with extending Patanjali’s products line.  After the launch of Patanjali Atta Noodles which eyes to eat up the market of Nestle’s Maggi, Ramdev is now targeting cosmetic brands and baby care products; he will also launch Yoga wear clothing line to take on brands like Adidas and Nike.

Baba Ramdev has been quite a critic to foreign brands and companies as he always promote Patanjali’s healthy products and ask his followers to boycott foreign brands thus helping the nation’s economy.

Yoga Guru was present at the launch of Instant noodle (Patanjali Atta Noodle) where he announced his upcoming range of products which are pocket friendly and healthy.Baba Ramdev’s company, Patanjali Ayurveda would launch power health drinks, beauty care products and baby care products, Baba Ramdev also made an announcement about yoga wear line.

Patanjali Atta Noodle at Rs 15

Baba Ramdev launched Atta Noodles of which, he had announced 6 months back when Nestle’s Maggi failed mandatory tests.  Atta Noodles by Patanjali Ayurveda would be available in 70 gm packet for Rs 15. Noodles will be available in about 10 Lakh shops by the year’s end. Consumers may also opt for oil free Atta Noodles. As per Baba, Atta Noodles are safe, healthy and costs less than other noodle brands. The money from the product would be utilised for the education of financially weak children.

  1. Patanjali Ayurved, co-founded by yoga guru Ramdev, is targeting Rs 10,000-crore revenue in 2016-17, after sales grew 150 per cent in the previous financial year to Rs 5,000 crore. Patanjali Ayurved has also started its FMCG expansion in form of dealership and distributorship channels across the country and expects wider growth in Overseas distribution as well.
