Gautam Gambhir and Manoj Tiwari had a tussle in a Ranji Trophy Match at Ferozshah Kotla Stadium where Delhi was playing against West Bengal.
Ranji Trophy: Tussle between Gambhir and Tiwari
Match between Delhi and Bengal turned into an ugly event as Delhi’s Captain Gautam Gambhir and Bengal Captain Manoj Tiwari had a brawl with almost trying to hit each other especially Gautam Gambhir who also pushed Umpire Srinath in between.

The embarrassing event held at Ferozshah Kotla Stadium when Bengal lost its 2nd wicket and West Bengal’s Captain, Manoj Tiwari came out to bat. Tiwari took his guard at the pitch and as the bowler was about deliver the ball; the batter stopped the bowler and asked for a helmet as he was sporting a cap at the time. This act led to bowler commenting on Tiwari as he felt it was a tactic to eat up the time.
Gautam Gambhir was standing at first slip and he jumped in the argument by arguing with Tiwari to which Tiwari retaliated. Gambhir told the batter to meet him outside in the evening where he will beat him to which Tiwari replied, let’s settle it here why to wait for the evening. The Umpire hurried towards Tiwari as Gambhir moved to hit Tiwari but he rather pushed Umpire Srinath who was trying to sort out the issue.
Gautam Gambhir is known for his grumpiness as he also had an ugly argument with Virat Kohli in IPL and also had some words with Rahul Dravid. Brawls with other international cricketrs have been a consistency for Gambhir.
Match referee would decide the charges on the players involved.
