6 IPL Teams Left – Outcome of the CSK RR Ban:
Committee has banned Chennai (CSK) and Rajasthan (RR) teams which mean there would be only 6 teams in next IPL Edition and this questions the role and future of key players like MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Brendon McCullum, Ajinkya Rahane, Steve Smith and others who are part of these teams. Board of Cricket Control India (BCCI) would like to organize the tournament as per the 8 Team format and thus it would be taking few actions for tournaments future. We give you the possible steps which could be initiated by BCCI and teams for forthcoming tournament.
- Chennai and Rajasthan can appeal in Supreme Court against the judgement but most probably the appeal would be overturned.
- Two new cricket teams can be added and players like Dhoni, Raina, Ashwin, McCullum, Smith and others can be part of new teams.
- Tournament played with six teams and all the players from these two teams are kept in Auction pool.
