World Cup winner and Former Test Legend, Ricky Ponting has proposed for Test Matches without any Toss. Ponting suggested that, the visiting team should be allowed to choose whether to Bat or Bowl first in a Test Match as this would stop the home sides to make pitches according to their suitability.
Ponting’s Advice Supported by Holding and Steve Waugh
Ricky Ponting has advised to ICC for making the matches equally favourable for Batters and Bowlers and his ‘No Toss’ advice is strongly supported by Former West Indian Fast bowler, Michael holding and another Aussie Captain, Steve Waugh.
One Sided Test Matches worries Cricket Legends
Holding showed his concern for Test Matches after recent Ashes 2015 Series where England emerged as the winners. All the matches were one sided which made holding and Ponting support such initiative as Home sides are taking too much advantage of their conditions.
Waugh also showed his support though he said, Australia lost because of their performance majorly.
