Shahrukh Khanโ€™s 5 Must Watch Movies: SRK Turns 50

We celebrate SRKโ€™s birthday with referring these must watch SRK Starrers.

Dilwaleย Dulhania Leย Jayenge:

The movie cemented Shahrukh as the ultimate king of romance and made every Indian girl wish to be Simran and desire for her Raj. The film is perfect blend of Romance, Family Drama and Comedy. Aditya Chopra directorial is among Indiaโ€™s biggest blockbuster till date and the chemistry between SRK and Kajol (Raj and Simran) will always be the best ever presented.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai:

KKHH epitomised the college, friendship and love with SRK and Kajol again in the lead. Karan Johar made one of the most romantic sagas with Shah Rukh, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee and Salman Khan (Guest Appearance). The film still holds its appeal with its pristine characters and beautiful friendship cum love story.

The movie directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar was not a huge box office success but it will always be among the best and finest of cinematic work done in India. Shah Rukh Khan as NASA returned scientist who sees the struggles and issues of India and finally leaves his dream job to serve his nation is heart warming. SRK as Mohan Bhargaw stole the show and gave us a hard hitting yet smiling experience.

Chak de India:

SRK as Hockey coach Kabir Khan was at top notch in this Shimit Amin directorial. The movie based on National sports, Hockey and women team being the centre part won many accolades and applauses for its story of Indian Women hockey team winning the World Cup under the coach who was once considered as a betrayer to his nation. This sports drama is a must watch for every proud Indian.

SRK never played the safe game and signing Darr as the negative character was one of his first risk which paid off in a tremendous way. SRK as psycho lover was praised by one and all, even the lead character of Sunny Deol was overshadowed by SRK Brilliance. SRK actually changed the meaning of the lead with this Film.

We wish the Superstar continues to entertain us for another 50 years but for now wait for SRKโ€™s next offering which are Dilwale, Fan and Raess.
