TNTET result 2017 – Tamil Nadu TET cut off & merit list


TNTET 2017 Result Date – Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has successfully executed the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test commonly known as TNTET all over where it was proposed. TRB conducted the Paper 1 and Paper 2 on separate dates, Paper 1 on April 29 and Paper 2 on April 30 and as per stats, about 700 thousand applicants participated in the exam.

Out of the total participants, about 2.5 lakh participated in the TNTET paper 1 and the rest participated in the Paper 2 carried out on April 30. As usual, the majority of them searched for the TNTET answer key in the beginning but after few days they began to search for updated word about TNTET result 2017.

Some unofficial sources released their keys right after the completion of exam, but they are not considered as reliable as the official one.

TNTET result 2017 –


Both the question paper were comprised of 150 questions and each question carries 1 marks, while there is no negative marking for the wrong responses. Paper 1 is conducted for teachers who will teach class 1st to 5th and paper 2 is conducted for teachers who will teach class 6th to 8th.

TNTET cut off 2017

Along with the Tamil Nadu TET result 2017, TRB is also going to release the TNTET 2017 cut off marks and on the basis of which the participants will be evaluated that whether they stand qualified or non-qualified.

Basically, 60% marks are required to qualify the Teachers Eligibility Test i.e., 90 marks out of a grand total of 150 marks. But still, you should wait for the official word from TRB’s side.

TNTET merit list 2017

The qualified candidates will be called for the documents verification and passing the same will then make them eligible to receive the TET pass certificate.

TRB may release a list or TNTET 2017 merit list, which will include the details of the selected candidates who have qualified the exam by scoring equal or more than the TNTET cut off 2017.
