MCA Lifts Ban on Shahrukh Khan – The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has announced that MCA has lifted the 5 Year ban on Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan for entering the Wankhede Stadium. Shahrukh was banned for 5 Years from entering the Wankhede Stadium after his argument and tussle with a security guard in May, 2015 while his Team Kolkata Knight Riders was playing against the hosts Mumbai Indians.
Wankhede SRK Ban News:
Managing Committee of MCA had meeting where they took this decision to lift the ban on SRK 2 years before its completion time i.e. May, 2017. Shahrukh khan is co owner of 2 time champion KKR and he is among the most popular and loved faces in Indian Premier League. The committee was set to end the ban as the actor has already served 3 years of the ban with all the respect and has never questioned or took a stand against the MCA’s decision.
Shahrukh Khan was expected to get a temporary end on the 5 Year ban last year to bring the final match to Mumbai instead of Bengaluru but the attempt was failed. This end would mean that SRK is now free to watch any international or IPL match in the Wankhede Stadium and he can perform at the events like IPL Opening or Closing Ceremony at the Stadium.
